ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും സമ്പന്നമായ ഗ്രാമം ഗുജറാത്തില്‍
ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ഏഷ്യയിലെ തന്നെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ സമ്പത്തുള്ള നഗരമാണ് ഗുജറാത്തിലെ മദാപര്‍ ഗ്രാമം. ഇവിടുത്തെ ഗ്രാമ നിവാസികള്‍ക്ക് ഏതാണ്ട് 7000 കോടി രൂപയുടെ സ്ഥിര നിക്ഷേപം ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകള്‍ സൂച്ചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ കണക്കുകള്‍ ഇവര്‍ എത്രത്തോളം സമ്പന്നരാണെന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. പട്ടേല്‍ സമുദായക്കാരാണ് മദാപര്‍ ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ കൂടുതലും. 2011ലെ ജനസംഖ്യ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് 17,000 തില്‍ നിന്ന് 32,000 ത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയര്‍ന്നു.
എച്ച്ഡിഎഫ്സി ബാങ്ക്, എസ്ബിഐ, പിഎന്‍ബി, ആക്സിസ് ബാങ്ക്, ഐസിഐസിഐ ബാങ്ക്, യൂണിയന്‍ ബാങ്ക് തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രധാന പൊതു സ്വകാര്യ ബാങ്കുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ 17 ബാങ്കുകളാണ് ഗ്രാമത്തിലുള്ളത്. സമൃദ്ധിക്ക് പിന്നിലെ കാരണം ഇവിടെ താമസിക്കുന്ന എന്‍ആര്‍ഐ (നോണ്‍ റസിഡന്‍റ് ഇന്ത്യന്‍) കുടുംബങ്ങളാണ്. അവര്‍ ഓരോ വര്‍ഷവും പ്രാദേശിക ബാങ്കുകളിലും പോസ്ററ് ഓഫീസുകളിലും കോടികള്‍ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നു. ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ ഏകദേശം 20,000 വീടുകളുണ്ട് എന്നാല്‍ ഏകദേശം 1,200 കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ വിദേശത്താണ് താമസിക്കുന്നത് കൂടുതലും ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍.
നിരവധി ഗ്രാമീണര്‍ വിദേശത്ത് താമസിക്കുകയും ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും അവര്‍ അവരുടെ ഗ്രാമത്തോട് ചേര്‍ന്നുനില്‍ക്കുന്നു. അവര്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തേക്കാള്‍ ഇവിടെ ബാങ്കുകളില്‍ പണം നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ സമ്യദ്ധിക്ക് കാരണമെന്ന് മുന്‍ ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് പരുല്‍ബെന്‍ കാര വ്യക്തമാക്കി. വെള്ളം, ശുചീകരണം, റോഡ്, ബംഗ്ളാവുകള്‍, പൊതു~സ്വകാര്യ സ്കൂളുകള്‍, തടാകങ്ങള്‍, ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങള്‍, തുടങ്ങി എല്ലാ അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. |
